The method involves converting a meta format into a data format by a meta format interpreter before accepting data (10) over one of two software applications, where the data format is assisted on points of respective software applications. The data is analyzed in the meta format by an access unit during or before access to the data in the meta format. The access to the data is executed by using the meta format interpreter or another access unit depending on the result of the analysis.
