Asynchronous signal magnitudes conversion device for use in e.g. spectrum analyzer, has detectors generating respective enabling signals, where synchronous signal with highest data rate results from enabling signals
The device (2) has a temporary storage (18) for synchronized temporary storing of evaluation magnitudes that are determined from signal magnitudes detected by detectors (13-1-13-5). A gate component generates a synchronous signal for synchronized temporary storing, and a fine state machine (22) serially reads the stored evaluation magnitudes. Each of the detectors generates an enabling signal, which denotes availability of the determined evaluation magnitudes, where the synchronous signal with a highest data rate results from the enabling signals.
