Use of an amine compound (I), as collectors in silicate flotations. Use of an amine compound of formula (R-N-[A-NH 2] 2) (I), as collectors in silicate flotations. R : 6-20C alkyl group or -alkenyl group, preferably 2-ethylhexane-, isononane-, isodecane-, decane, dodecane or isotridecane residue; and A : 2-4C alkylene group, preferably propylene group. An independent claim is included for a composition comprising 1-99 wt.% of a collector for the silicate flotation, which is an alkyletheramine, alkyletherdiamine, alkylamine or quaternary ammonium salt and 1-99 wt.% of (I).
