The switches (423-426) are electrically coupled to a memory element (104) which stores the electrical quantity. The electrical quantities are transferred along the circuit path (330,340) of the switch to the partial storage units (441,442) of the memory element. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for reading and storing electrical quantity of memory element; and (2) computer program for reading and storing electrical quantity of non-volatile memory element.
