The computer (1) has a contactless proximal area reading device (8) that is arranged in an interior of a housing (2) in an area of a housing wall (3). The reading device cooperates with a contactless memory device (5) that is introduced outside of the housing in the area of the housing wall for data exchange. The reading device is connected in the housing of the computer by an internal interface.
