The valve has a pre-controlling layer and a main layer within a valve housing, where a valve closing member of the pre-controlling layer is accommodated in sections in a magnetic armature (3). The closing member is guided within a casing that is connected with the housing. The closing member is directed to a valve seat (8) which forms a component of a main stage, whose outlet cross section is measured to be largely opposite to the seat. A valve closing unit (28) of the main layer is accommodated in sections in a blind hole (37) of the armature.
