Device for connecting a component (12) with a unit (2) comprises an oscillating mechanism (4) coupled with either the component or unit to absorb shocks and vibrations. The component is arranged on the oscillating mechanism at a connecting point (7) which lies on or close to the oscillation node. A damping device (30) dampens the fundamental oscillation in relation to the oscillating mechanism. An independent claim is also included for a system consisting of a component and a unit. Preferred Features: The component rotates on the oscillating mechanism. The damping device is fixed directly to the oscillating mechanism on or close to the oscillation node or via a component.
