The mechanism (8) has a ground resistance connected with an electrical fence device (2) of an electrical fence (1). The ground resistance includes an actuation unit for changing a value of the ground resistance. The actuation unit operates a switch in a closing position and moves the switch into an opening position, where positioning of the switch corresponds to the ground resistance with an infinite value. The electrical fence device has a high voltage terminal (4) and a neutral terminal (5), where the mechanism has a special terminal for determining a connection of a ground wire (6). Independent claims are also included for: (1) an electrical fence device of an adjusting mechanism for a value of a grounding resistance; and (2) a transponder or an accessory device of an electrical fence connected with a grounding.
