A method for checking the internal quality of bedspreads or quilts (3) comprising upper and lower white cotton fabrics and a filling made of silk, cotton or down, involves fixing the quilt (3) on the casing (2) of a camera system (1) and taking a picture of the entire quilt. An independent claim is included for a method for checking the filling in a quilt (3) by fixing it on the casing (2) of a camera system (1) which has lights inside the casing, a semi-transparent plate (5) onto which the quilt is fixed, legs (6) under the casing with an axle (7) round which the casing can be rotated and thus put into the vertical position, and a transparent printing plate (9) in a frame (10) by means of which the plate can be easily put on and taken off, and then taking a picture of the entire quilt to check the quality of the filling.
