The method involves providing an image sensor that is provided with two pixel lines. The two pixel lines are provided with a Bayer color filter matrix (1). A resulting line is produced with pixel positions and color values, where the color values correspond to individual pixel positions of the resulting line. The color values are received from individual pixels of the two pixel lines. An independent claim is also included for a color line camera for performing a method for recording images of objects.
