A driver mechanism (2a) of an upper arm is attached between a positive electrode of a DC power source (10) and an end of a load (11). The driver mechanism (2b) of a lower arm is attached between a negative electrode of the DC power source and the other end of the load. A resistor (3a, 3b) is connected parallel to each driver mechanism. A load condition anomaly detection mechanism (4) determines an anomaly e.g. short circuit in the load driver system based on the terminal voltage on one or both load terminals.
