The method involves transferring of additional data (A) over local allocation of partial area with different grid systems, on printing plate (6) which is to be illustrated, to control unit (2) of lighting device. Illustration (11) of printing plate is accomplished with the aid of mechanical and optical parameters in such a way that the values of mechanical and optical parameters are adapted for each partial area with available grid system on printing plate that is to be illustrated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Control unit; and (2) Lighting device.
