Engine controller adjusting method, involves utilizing position direction model as position direction value, and adjusting control parameter of position feed forward control unit such that overshooting value does not exceed given value
The method involves producing a position direction model (14) for an adjustment actuation, which constantly changes as position direction value of a position control unit (7). A frequency response of the control unit and/or a velocity control unit (10) is increased within a range, in which vibration amplitude of a positional direction wave form does not exceed a given value. The model is utilized as the position direction value of the position control unit. A control parameter of a position feed forward control unit is adjusted such that an overshooting value does not exceed a given value. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatically adjusting an engine controller.
