The section has a cap-type sprocket (1a) that is provided with a rubber or rubber-like elastomer mixture (3), where the section is made of rubber-or rubber-like materials e.g. elastomers. The materials are connected with fibers or felt portions in an operating process. Appropriate resins are applied on a carrier material and allow hardening of small pipes by appropriate hardening process, such that the section produces a statically supporting construction. A circular elastomer ring (7) is arranged behind the sprocket and receives forces from working loads. An independent claim is also included for a method of attaching profiles from elastomer in sewers by vulcanization robots.
