Body training machine (1) has a vertically supportable base frame section (2), a hand grip section (5), which is provided with a hand grip (4) in a hand grip shaft (3), which can move to and fro in a front section of the base frame section. A saddle shaft (6) is provided with saddle (7) to upper end saddle shank, which is so supported such that the upper end saddle shank move to and fro in rear base frame section. There are pedals, which are operated by a user with the feet, sitting on the saddle. A rotating means (12) of the hand grip or the saddle propels to and fro by propelling the turning means, whereby the rotating means from a cam disk, which is attached at the rotating shaft and which turns together with the rotating shaft, a rocker arm or a rocker is formed, which possesses an intermediate sector, which is linked at the base frame section, and which can swing in a vertical level. A lower end section of the hand grip shaft is brought to the cam disk with a surface directed upward into a slide contact and whereby the rocker is so designed that a front section is brought to the cam disk with a surface directed downward into a slide contact. A rear section with a lower section of the saddle shaft in contact is brought, whereby the saddle shaft is pushed upward in connection with upward oscillation of the rear section of the rocker.
