Method of block digitizing analog signals converts from Cartesian to spherical coordinates and uses differential pulse code modulation with back prediction to obtain unrestricted delay-free digitizing
A method of block digitizing analog comprises transferring the signals from Cartesian to spherical coordinates and obtaining signal prediction values from quantized signal values through differential pulse code modulation with back prediction. Despite blockwise processing of digitizing for individual signal values in Cartesian coordinates a delay-free generation of predicted values is enabled and no restriction in respect of block length results.
