The procedure for biological removal of hydrogen sulfide from biogas, comprises supplying the biogas and an acidically regulated wash solution in direct current at 15-40[deg] C into a biowasher, dissolving air/oxygen under pressure in the wash solution, and introducing the wash solution into the biowasher for biological conversion of the hydrogen sulfide. 80-50%, 50 -20%, 20-5% and 5-1% of the wash solution are delivered in the first-, second-, third- and fourth stage respectively. The wash solution in the circulation is compressed at 1.5-3 bar. The procedure for biological removal of hydrogen sulfide from biogas, comprises supplying the biogas and an acidically regulated wash solution in direct current at 15-40[deg] C into a biowasher, dissolving air/oxygen under pressure in the wash solution, and introducing the wash solution into the biowasher for biological conversion of the hydrogen sulfide. 80-50%, 50 -20%, 20-5% and 5-1% of the wash solution are delivered in the first-, second-, third- and fourth stage respectively. The wash solution in the circulation is compressed at 1.5-3 bar. The system temperature for the biological washing is 25-35 [deg] C. The wash solution saturated with air/oxygen is dosed with hydrogen peroxide.
