The roller holder is for pallets which have support feet (2) formed by metal strips installed beneath the pallet surface, and has a housing between the support feet and pallet surface to receive the forks of a lifting device. The roller (1) is detachably connected to the support foot via a connecting adaptor which has a locating component which by a locating surface (3) lies against the metal strip of the support feet and is detachably connected to the support foot by a clamping device (8). The locating component is constructed in such a way that sufficient space remains for the fork of the lifting device to slide into the housing. An independent claim is included for a pallet with a roller holder installed on two of its support feet.
