The clutch has a pressure plate (5) that is axially misaligned opposite to a coupling cover (2) by a plate spring (3). A support ring (7) and a spring tongue (8) raise an auxiliary force parallel to the plate spring according to a portion of a displacement path (s) of the pressure plate, where the support ring and the spring tongue are arranged at the coupling cover. The support ring is arranged on a side of the plate spring that is turned away from the coupling cover. The support ring includes a seam that forms a hinge bearing (9) for the plate spring.
