A piston arrangement (1) for dividing a hollow cylinder (5) into two working zones (33,35) has a valve device (47) through which a medium flows between the two working spaces (33,35) via a sealing device, which has a sealing ring (57) axially movable in a radially encircling recess (43) and has an internal radius such that the sealing ring (57) comprises a flow-influence element (30) acting in relation to the state of movement of the piston arrangement (1) on a first flow path (39), and the piston ring (57) frees or interrupts a second flow-path (55).
