The method involves transmitting instructional data (2) to a computer using parameters and/or boundary conditions and/or intermediate products and/or a resulting print product. A given parameter set (5) is generated from the instructional data. The given parameter set is compared with the parameter sets of templates (7-10) by a comparator (6). The templates with the parameter set is used for automatic adjustment and execution of production of print product if the given parameter set is not identical with the parameter set of the templates.
