The rudder has a rudder blade and an upper rudder blade section with two cross sectional profiles, where two cross sectional surface sections of one profile have a tangentially running edge area and an edge area with a run of curved line and a curve run. Propeller sided cross section surface sections (24a, 24b) of a lower blade section (20) have another tangentially running edge areas (27, 27a) and another edge area (26, 26a) with another run (26`) of curved line and another curve run (26`a), where the latter sections are laid with the latter curve run in the latter edge area.
