The advent calendar has wooden rods, which have to be pulled out to gain access to the daily present packets. The 24 wooden rods are made visible by button motifs (2) on the front of the calendar. The packets hang from the rods. The calendar may have a door (1) at the bottom of its front, for access to the packets.
