The profile band system (100) is for the hinged-articulated connection of a door panel, window pane or similar to a frame and has a band extent (1) incorporating a hinge part (2) and a fixture part (3). A hollow part (8) has a fixture wall (13) which fixes the fixture part. On the fixture wall is a breakthrough and on the fixture part of the band extent is a projection (20) which grips through the breakthrough and locates on a cross-wall (18) running transversally to the fixture wall. In the angled area (5) of the fixture part the projection is formed which grips through the breakthrough (17) and locates on the inside of the cross wall. The outer surface (19) with the sealing surface (16) forms a plane. This enables the sealing arrangement to locate also on the outer surface (19) when the door panel is closed.
