The furniture has an upper seat and a couch part (2) connected with a lower bottom side frame (3) so that the part (2) deviates between sitting and lying positions at a preset tilting angle range. A hinge (4) has radially inner and outer support parts (5, 6), which are connected with the part (2) and the frame (3), respectively, or vice versa. The part (5) runs through a radial opening of the part (6) in a preset execution angle range that lies beyond the tilting angle range. The part (5) is formed from plastic such as polyamide or Teflon, and the part (6) is formed from aluminum.
