The turntable (10) has a lower part (16) and an upper part (14) that is turnable relative to the lower part. A motor has a housing and a driving pinion, where the housing is connected with the lower part or with the upper part. A toothed ring is arranged at the lower part or at the upper part and includes a toothing over a part of its inner side, where the toothing is meshed with the driving pinion. The motor is switched-on and switched-off by using a wireless remote control.
