The bridge unit has a base plate with multiple longitudinal slots of different length for receiving a saddle (1). Multiple drills are provided for restoring strings of a guitar. The saddle is moved in a guideway (14) and locked in the guideway, and includes a cross-hole and a pin (8) with chamfer. Multiple screws (4) adjust height and angle of the saddle, and another screw (3) fixes a bridge saddle (5). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a saddle for a bridge unit (2) a lock of a saddle.
