A second handle for a waste bin is described. This is in addition to the conventional handle used for moving the bin and for lifting by the refuse disposal vehicle. The new handle comprises a cross bar and rod, which can be lowered. It can be extended from a rod guide fixed rigidly to the bin. It is pulled out or pushed in; and locked in position.
