The luggage compartment functional device for a motor vehicle has at least one guide profile (2) which has a top-open cross sectional profile over its whole width. The guide profile in its bottom section is provided with securing means (5) for positive locking retention in the vertical direction of the guide profile of a functional element (3). Locking means are provided, which are effective in the longitudinal direction of the guide profile, and comprise locking profiles distributed over the length of the guide profile and corresponding locking elements on the functional element.
