Assembly to oxygenate polluted ground water via an oxygen-permeable macro-porous membrane impermeable to the water

In a process to purify polluted ground water, ground water is near-saturated with oxygen by an assembly having a macro-porous membrane that is oxygen-permeable but impermeable to the water with which it is on contact. The oxygen is delivered from a gas bottle at a pressure regulated by one or more valves. The macro-porous membrane is a folded silicon-based polymer. The oxygen passes through the membrane at the same rate at which the water is capable of oxygen uptake.
