The helmet has an outer shell (11) and an adjustable supporting system arranged in an inner side of the shell. A holder (20) for a functional unit e.g. camera and a light, is arranged in the shell. The shell provides a retainer (12) for arrangement of the holder in the helmet, where the holder has a base unit (21) that is detachably inserted in the retainer. A horizontal plug-connection is provided between the base unit and retainer units (22, 23) of the retainer. A base plate is provided in an upper side of the shell and made from metal e.g. aluminum.
