The plate has an outer side, and longitudinal and narrow sides (5, 6, 7, 8), where the sides (5-8) are provided with recesses (9, 10) that extend over more than half the length of the sides (5-8) or the whole length of the sides (5-8). The recesses are open to the outer side of the plate. The recesses have bases (11, 11`), which are orthogonally attached to outer sides of the sides (5-8). The bases are connected with the outer side of the plate through side walls (12, 12`). The recesses extend over approximately half the thickness of the plate. An independent claim is also included for an interconnection of two heat insulation plates.
