The device has a suction tube (11), and an aeration unit (12) arranged between the suction tube and a conveying tube (13). The aeration unit comprises a double tube unit (14) whose outer pipe is provided with a compressed-air outlet (26). An inner pipe is connected with the outer pipe, and the compressed-air outlet is closed in an intermediate space, where the inner pipe consists of a pressure resistant, air permeable material. An independent claim is also included for a dipping plant for aerating and circulating water.
