The arrangement has a base for mounting on a transport support and for accommodating the lower end of the disk package (6). The disk package is enclosed by the base, a supporting region, stanchions (7) and a securing rod. A transport chassis (1) has several connecting arrangements for connecting together two adjacent transport chassis. There are at least two attachment points for a connecting rod between transport chassis on the upper side of each stanchion. An independent claim is also included for a transport unit with at least two inventive transport chassis.
