An adjustable mandrel comprises a sheath (5), a part (1), a part having a cone (3), a spring (2), sheets (4) and elastic rings (6) with the sheets mutually at 90[deg] around the sheath with the closing part of the mandrel being fixed by the rings. The conical part is freely adjustable within the sheath by means of the part (1) through the springs.
