Wash basin has light, stable self-supporting pipe or crossbeam construction for wash basin rack (1), which holds cross-beams in its open position (operating position) with lockable folding mechanism. Folding up (transport position) makes possible transport of wash basin rack. Construction is implemented as L-shaped rack with rear wall containing tubs support. Water feed, discharges as well as wash basin plane (5) are firmly attached at sliding device.
