When used as a bench for sitting, a structure (3) attached vertically to a movable sitting/reclining support (MSRS) (2) functions as a backrest for the bench for sitting. When swung out, this structure is used as feet for a bench for reclining and a main bench (MB) supports a movable sitting support. Stepped recesses (4) on the MB and on the MSRS transfer force from the MSRS onto the MB.
