The device has rolling brushes (3) coupled to a drive motor and driven by the motor. The brushes are coupled with each other by a gear drive (8) and placed on a supporting unit (7). The drive has a shaft (9) standing in detachable engagement with a retainer (15) of the motor that is designed as accumulator-operated power screw driver (14). One of the brushes is attached to a gear, and the shaft is placed in a rotating point of the gear, where the brushes and/or the shafts are rotatably supported by bearings. The bearings and the gear are manufactured from polyoxymethylene co-polymer.
