The card has a circuit board (20) inserted into an interface card slot (29) at a main printed circuit board of a portable computer system under formation of an electric connection to the computer system. A peripheral interface card main circuit (21) is mounted at the circuit board under formation of the electric connection to the card slot. An antenna (22) overlies flatly at the circuit board, and is electrically connected to the main circuit. The main circuit processes a radio signal, and the processed radio signal is transmitted to the computer system by the card slot.
