A lamp, with at least one or an optional number of white LEDs (1.2) as a means of illumination, has a flashing function which can be triggered by an optional switch and which can be designed for different flashing colors such a yellow or red, as a result of which it can also be suitable as a warning light for the vehicle emergencies or rescue operations. The flashing function can be carried out by the same diodes which radiate the white light, but can also be carried out by additionally provided diodes.
