Composite sheet (I) for laminating with non-metallic components, comprising decorative sheet with the underside pretreated to increase surface tension and then coated with a thin layer of primer varnish (PV1) followed by a metallised layer with an optical density up to 3.0 OD and then a thin layer of protective varnish (PV2), in which PV1 acts as pre-treatment and coupling agent and PV2 acts as barrier layer, coupling agent and diffusion barrier for solvents and other volatile additives in the plastic profile.
