The measuring tape has multiple windows (5, 6, 7) located in a housing (3), where a tape (1) moves under the window during winding apart /coiling of the tape. Multiple rollers (8, 9, 10, 11) provide stability for the length of the tape from the windows to an opening (4). A scale is mounted in such a manner that a distance from a front end of the tape to a rear wall of a housing (3) is readable visually in the window.
