The coupling comprises two separable fittings, a socket (1) and a push-in connector (2). The anti-release safety-strap (3) has an eye for attachment to the push-in connector at one end. At the other end, the strap has a loop (3.3). A resilient clip (4) is passed through a hole in the loop. The clip is seated in a groove (1.1) at the front end of the socket, following connection of the fittings. Pulling on the loop after releasing the connection, permits complete re-separation of the hose sections.
