The drum (1) has a bowl (3) with a coat (4) held in a stand (2) of the drum, where the coat is tensionable and tunable by a tensioning- and tuning mechanism (7). The tensioning and tuning mechanism has a fine tuner (8) with a shaft (9), which acts on the mechanism and is supported in an area of its upper end in a storage of a retainer (11). The retainer with the storage for the shaft is provided at the stand and pivotable around a vertical axis. A fixing or clamping mechanism fixes the pivoting position of the retainer.
