Slitter holder has slitter is aligned as a driven tool upper blade (6) on a first vertical actuator. A second axial actuator is aligned by a linear motor (3) opposite to a lower blade (8) cutting position. The axial position of upper blade is placed against the lower blade initially with a low pressure over the force feedback of linear motor and is shifted finally to end positions-feedback. In order to bring the upper blade either in touching but pressure less or with an adjustable cutting gap in cutting position, the axial actuation is held in both cutting position as well as in the rest position over the permanent bracket (7). The linear motor is set in a power-off position.
