The device has a current sensor to record current flow per phase and implemented as shunt and winding at a current conducting conductor. The sensor effects a current measurement through a magnetic field, which is generated by the current, such that a sign equitable recording of a load side power system is allowed. The device initiates a computer-aided load side testing and measurement of a power supply parameter, whose computer-aided evaluation of a single or multiphase connection of a mains supply of an electrical load connected with a container socket is effected.
