The system has openings provided on a side wall (32) for admission of pipe ends by detachment of wall areas (35, 35`). A plastic adapter (50) is provided with pipe inlets and is fixable in front of an opening of the wall. Each pipe inlet has an outer wall from a set of detachable outer wall sections. An edge of one of the wall sections has a circular shaped course. A circular inlet for round pipes of different diameters is unclamped in the pipe inlet by unhinging the outer wall section alone or together with the remaining adjacent outer wall sections.
