A labeling clip has an opening that is moved over a digital versatile disc/compact disc jewel case wrapper, where the clip is made of a transparent material such as plastic, hard polyvinyl chloride foil or polyethylene terephthalate foil. The opening is slightly narrower at a front side of the wrapper. A closed side of the clip is slightly broader, in which a strip made of paper or cardboard is inserted as a labeling surface.
