The instrument has a basic device with graphical user interface and remote operating unit, which contains the flexible configuration of the unit to be displayed (multiple-device concept) for instantaneous display of vehicle-specific data determined by sensor system. The flexible configuration of the unit is provided for diagnosing the faults resulting from the data and for display of the navigation data determined by the sensor system and received in wireless manner and also for storing the determined and received data. The sensor system comprises of LED (Light Emitting Diode), light diode, EEPROM (Electrical Erasable and Programmable Memory), NVRAM (Non Volatile Random Access Memory). A connected receiver provides GPS (Global Positioning System) or GALILEO data of position and direction of motion of the vehicle.
