The system comprises D-sub-miniature connectors (12,65) and two plate shaped components. The plate shaped components are present outside at either of the narrow sides of the flange (26,66). A connecting bar is present parallel and outside to the longitudinal side of the flange. The individual coding elements (40) are formed connected with each other. The two connecting bars are arranged in a manner that they form the flange of the plug connector together with the two plate shaped components.
